Michael McGinley is an Irish
artist-photographer based in Manchester, UK. Working
mainly with large & medium format film photography, his practice is driven
by a desire to explore the processes, relations and systems which produce our
contemporary condition.
Michael
is an artist and lecturer, with a cross-disciplinary visual arts practice
involving photography, installation, film, and sound. His has exhibited at
several UK and international galleries including The Blue Coat, Ferens Art
Gallery, Whitworth Art Gallery, the Arts Council Gallery Belfast, Castlefield/Cornerhouse/Home
Manchester and the Galerie des Arenes, Arles, France.
