Michael McGinley is an Irish
artist-photographer based in Manchester, UK. Working
mainly with large & medium format film photography, his practice explores the historic and contemporary processes, relations and systems which shape our environment.
As an artist and lecturer, with a cross-disciplinary visual arts practice involving photography, installation, film, and sound he has exhibited at several UK and international galleries including The Blue Coat, Ferens Art Gallery, Whitworth Art Gallery, the Arts Council Gallery Belfast, Castlefield/Cornerhouse/Home Manchester and the Galerie des Arenes, Arles, France.
